WelcomeThe Central York High School Band is a performance-based comprehensive program built on sound musical fundamentals. The bands at Central York consist of the Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Panther Marching Band, 6 O'Clock Jazz Band, and Central Jazz Lab. Additional opportunities are provided in smaller ensembles and musical theater productions. The Director of Bands is Jim Martini.
Central York School District is proud to have been named to the list of Best Communities in America for Music Education by the NAMM foundation nineteen times, as well as having been named a semi-finalist Grammy Signature School. |
